VidaGene, Inc. develops novel and proprietary pharmaceuticals based on modulation of the vitamin D receptor (VDR).  VidaGene’s near term goal is to develop a novel VDR modulator for chronic kidney disease with cardiovascular benefit, a multiple billion dollar indication that no currently marketed pharmaceutical has a label for, or is in development.  In addition, VidaGene seeks to develop entirely new VDR modulators for large pharmaceutical markets such as cancer-related thrombosis, osteoporosis and psoriasis.
